Apple Pay is a convenient, secure way to pay with your Box Elder Credit Union Visa debit and credit cards that makes reaching for your wallet a thing of the past. With Apple Pay you can simplify the way you shop by adding your Box Elder Credit Union credit and debit cards to the Passbook app on your iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, or to the Apple Watch app for your Apple Watch. Now you can easily pay for your purchases at many of your favorite retailers with just the touch of your finger.

Get Started: Add Your Box Elder Debit or Credit Card to Apple Pay
You must have an iPhone 6 or newer version to use Apple Pay.
Note: To ensure your enrollment goes smoothly, you must use the same contact information for your iTunes and Apple Pay accounts that you use for your Box Elder Credit Union Visa credit or debit card. If there is a discrepancy, it will delay your enrollment slightly. If your phone number, email address or mailing address has changed but you have not yet updated that contact information in your Box Elder Credit Union or iTunes account, you should update the incorrect information before enrolling in Apple Pay.

Apple Pay allows you to pay for your purchases with your iPhone® 6 or iPhone 6 Plus by holding your phone near a contactless reader. You can also use your phone, iPad Air and iPad Mini 3 to pay within certain apps.
You need an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus to pay in stores and within apps iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3 to pay within apps iOS 8.1 or later Touch ID or passcode on your device iCloud® account.
Apple Pay uses a graphical representation, not an identical replica of your Box Elder Credit Union card so the image of your card won’t be exact. Don’t worry, it will still work great 🙂
The credit or debit card associated with your iTunes® account or the first card you add to Passbook® is your default card. Follow these steps to change your default card:
- Go to Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay
- Tap Default Card
- Choose a new card
Delete the old card from Apple Pay and add the new card. To delete the old card, go into “Settings,” open “Passbook & Apple Pay,” select the card you want to delete and tap “Remove Card.” To add your new card, simply follow the easy step instructions.
Yes. When you use Apple Pay, your Box Elder Credit Union card number isn’t stored on your phone or given to the merchant. A unique digital code is created specifically for that device. You still enjoy all the benefits of your Box Elder Credit Union credit or debit card, which includes our Zero Liability policy that protects you from unauthorized purchases.
Since Apple Pay doesn’t store your credit or debit card number on the device, you never reveal your name, card number or security code to merchants.
Yes. Adding your credit or debit cards to Apple Pay is your choice; you can add and remove cards when needed.

Apple Watch users can add cards by opening the Apple Watch app on their iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c running iOS 8.2 or higher.
